How much of God’s love have you experienced? The love of God is awesome and deep more than your natural mind can imagine. The love of God is everything you need to be stable and successful in life. This article is aimed at making you desire more of God’s manifestation of His love in your life.
That He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height — to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God – Ephesians 3:16-19 (NKJV).
The love of God is beyond description, but one thing I know is that it is wonderful. It is the answer to all your challenges. The love of God covers multitude of sin (Proverbs 10:12), it is the greatest of the great three (1 Corinthians 13:13), and it enables you to obey God (John 14:21). The love of God is the reason we are saved John 3:16) and the reason why many of us are not consumed (Lamentation 3:22). The love of God passes knowledge and it is the fullness of God (Ephesians 3:19). The list can go on and on.
Paul prayed in Ephesians 3:16-19 that the Ephesians being rooted and grounded in love may have an understanding of the totality of the love of Christ (that cannot be compared with any human exploit, knowledge or invention – addition mine). Having the love of God fully in you and in manifestation is to have God Himself fully in you and in manifestation (John 14:23).
The word of God is God and God is love (John 1:1, 1 John 4:8). The world is created and sustained by love (Hebrews 1:3, Hebrews 11:3); that is one reason why I believe the world will be destroyed when love goes, i.e., the world will be terrible to live in. When the Holy Spirit who represents God on earth (2 Thessalonians 2:7), is taken away, the world will be unbearable to live in. That is why we must endeavour to be part of the first flight (1 Thessalonians 4:17).
Furthermore, an emotionally stable person is a product of love, who grew and walked being surrounded by love and the person would be surrounded by love in death. Jesus is a good example, He was born because of God’s love for humanity, walked on earth by love, evidenced in the recorded interactions he had with people, and he died because of His love for humanity.
In essence, the love of God makes all the difference. There is incredibly more to the power of God’s love in one’s life than we can imagine. That was why Paul prayed that prayer for the Ephesians. When you fully understand and live by the love of God, your life will never be the same again. It is the difference between failure and success (Joshua 1:8), lack and want (Psalm 37:25), joy and sadness (John 15:11), victory and defeat (1 John 4:4), peace and sorrow (Philippians 4:7), unity and disorder (Colossians 3:14), good health and sickness (Exodus 23:25).
Therefore, if you don’t like a situation and you desire a change, introduce the love of God into it and a wonderful change will occur. Where there is strife all manner of evil occur (James 3:16), this means that where there is love all manner of good things occur. This also calls for prayers for the love of God in our nations, churches, homes, and communities. Let’s not murmur and complain, instead let’s walk in love, show good examples and go on our knees to effect the change that we desire.
